Applause Content Plan
In 2024, we produced 48 videos. In 2025, we hit 94. Alongside the Applause content team, I built a scalable video production machine designed to double output with only the help of a part time freelancer. The goal was to move away from "one-size-fits-all" marketing and toward a hyper-targeted strategy. By building a system of modular templates and AI-driven workflows, I lead the creation a library of content tailored to specific industries, job roles, and funnel stages, giving the sales team exactly what they needed to close deals while keeping organic social channels buzzing.

The challenge was a classic one: we needed a massive increase in volume, but didn't have the budget for more full-time headcount, and I still had a full slate of other projects to manage. We needed a better system. I collaborated with the Applause content team who set up a content production pipeline using NotebookLM to create clean narrative cuts and Descript to speed up the time it would take to put the edits together and work collaboratively. By shifting to a template-based approach, I could streamline the heavy lifting of editing. This allowed the content team to help prep the content and footage, while I focused on the high-level polish, allowing us to churn out targeted assets at a pace that was previously impossible.
Brand
We developed four distinct sub-series, each with its own visual identity that sat comfortably under the broader Applause brand.
- Ask an Expert: A punchy Q&A series featuring our internal specialists.
- Highlight Videos: Repurposed gems from long-form podcasts and case studies.
- Intro to Testing: Scripted, educational deep-dives written by David Carty that walked through our core value propositions.
- Compilation Videos: Fast-paced "fact-stacks" designed to live alongside our blogs.
Each series used its own specific graphics package alongside b-roll and simple motion graphics ensuring they felt like native social content while maintaining the professional, enterprise-grade look our clients expect.
