Humans of SAIL
Humans of SAIL is a video series that introduces members of the Northeastern community and the ways they use SAIL in their day-to-day activities. I recorded and edited videos for various staff members at the Northeastern and edited interviews with students who found interesting uses for the platform.
Before the pandemic these videos were recorded in Northeastern's video recording studios on a green screen. I would come in 30 minutes early to set up the camera and mics so that the interview could start as quickly and easily as possible. While the interview was going on I monitored the equipment and took notes, highlighting important moments along with time markers for later editing. The interview would be around 20 minutes which I would then cut down to under 4 minutes with a narrative that was easy to follow. In the following weeks I would visit the guest to capture and create b-roll.
